A documentary soberly entitled “Schumacher”

This documentary will arrive on a key date: the thirtieth anniversary of the German’s debut in F1, on Sunday, August 25, 1991, on the occasion of the Belgian GP. It was made in close collaboration with the family, respecting the private life of the pilot, and carried by a clear will of his wife: to show on the screen an authentic film which presents the pilot for his highs, as for his lows.

A life that changes in a few seconds

Inevitably, the question arises of the evocation of his accident. It was on December 29, 2013. While riding off-piste in the resort of Meribel, the sportsman had been the victim of a serious skiing accident. Injured in the head, he was then plunged into a coma. Since then, no more pictures or information. The family of the pilot knew brilliantly how to protect the private life of this one. For more than 8 years, they have operated a real media blockade. Already a legend, this strategy has contributed in spite of itself to accentuate this myth. Then inevitably, the fans are intrigued and want to know if the pilot is better. But, to everyone’s surprise, the wife of the man known as Schumi has finally come out of her silence. And this is excellent news. This documentary will shed light on a legendary career that has inspired generations and generations.

The documentary is scheduled to be released on September 15, and you’re bound to hear about it. It will be an opportunity to celebrate 30 years of a legendary career, and to dive into the exciting world of Formula 1.
