The movie industry is changing! On August 27, Netflix released the remake of the cult romantic comedy “He’s All That”. The headliner is none other than Addison Rae, TikTok star, since turned actress. The scenario? A high school queen who wants to help the unloved of the school to become the prom king. From influencer to actor, there is only one step. She is just 20 years old and already has more than 40 million followers on Instagram and 83 million followers on her Tik Tok account (the platform on which she became famous). How did she create such a community? Originally, via dance videos. She accumulated more than 5 billion likes on her videos. And then she quickly joined the “Hype House” collective, a group of influencers who moved into a house together in Los Angeles (in the same spirit as the “French House” launched by TikTok in France). Among the members of the “Hype House”, we find some of the great influencers on TikTok (Charli d’Amelio, Alex Warren, Chase Hudson, Kouvr Annon, etc…). Addison Rae is simply the second most followed person on TikTok, behind Charli d’Amelio.

Netflix just released a remake of the cult romantic comedy released in 1999, “He’s All That” This time, the heroine is none other than Addison Rae. The story? Padgett (the main character), an outstanding influencer and star of her high school, is going to give a makeover to the unloved one of the school, Cameron (played by Tanner Buchanan). Her goal? Turn him into a real prom king.
