A “vaccinated” sticker now on Tinder!

Tinder, Bumble, OkCupid, Badoo... Dating applications are committed to vaccination. Government awareness messages, vaccination stickers... A way to take care of their community.

Hey you !

Messages related to vaccination were already everywhere, now they are on the dating application Tinder. A way for the company to make a good face to the French government, but also to meet the expectations of its community. We return with you on this news widely taken up on social networks.

A new sticker on Tinder

We knew it on Instagram (under the term “Let’s get vaccinated”), here it is now on Tinder. The sticker has recently landed on the favorite dating application of the French. Yes, vaccination was already part of your daily debates, now it interferes in your next dates. You can now add the stickers “Vaccinated.e”, “Immunity, together”, “Soon vaccinated.e”, “The vaccine saves” on your profile. A way to reassure your future date, and to spare you the annoying question at the time of meeting you.

An awareness campaign

The approach does not stop with the simple sticker. There is also now an advertising space reserved for the French government’s announcements. You can see there public utility messages, information on the progress of Covid, redirections to the Tous AntiCovid application, and any information that could be useful on the subject.

An approach in response to users’ expectations

Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, the application had noted an increase of 149% of the search term “vaccine”. It is therefore a way for it to meet the expectations of its community, and to reassure its users. A person of the application testifies moreover: “Some proudly display having received their first dose in their bios, and others wish to meet their matches face to face only once fully vaccinated”. The members of the application say they are “proud to contribute to this awareness effort in France, while allowing our members to continue to meet new people,” explained Renate Nyborg, General Manager EMEA Tinder. A very 2021 online dating!

Vaccinated is the new cool? Only time will tell. In the meantime, it remains an unavoidable topic, in everyday life, in professional life, but also with your future dates. So, team vaccinated or antivax?
